In 2020, QUT held their O-Week before the world came to a halt. The campaign was filled with experiences and traditional activations to try to gain their audiences attention and data collect to keep them in the loop of the QUT Entrepreneurship Program.
The campaign gathered 200 emails of up coming entrepreneurs.
In 2021, QUT signed up to the deployable Deploy Link platform to rapidly story tell with easy to create landing pages.
During their O-Week 2021 campaign the QUT Entrepreneurship Program got 927 sign ups to their database, making it an increase of 363.5% from the previous year.
- The Program say users signing up through the evening, away from the activation.
This was a result of users having the landing page open on their phone and reminding them to subscribe away from the physical activation.
- The ease of moving from a physical stand and going immediately to digital channels through the Deploy Link landing pages was a major asset in acquire such a large uptake of data.
- No app download created a frictionless experience for the user and let them make instant decisions for how they want to engage with the University.
